Alcohol Sclerosing Injections
The cause of intermetatarsal neuromas is unclear. However, the most likely pathogenesis is mechanically induced or an entrapment type neuropathy. The treatment of neuromas includes a prescription orthotics, steroid injection and anti-inflammatories. In addition we provide a more advanced treatment option that the literature reports a 89% successful resolution rate on. The procedure involves injecting alcohol sclerosing solution adjacent to the neuroma. The treatment is a viable alternative to steroid injections or surgery.
