Foot Doctor, Podiatrist, Foot Surgeon in Issaquah Timothy Young, DPMDr. Timothy Young is a board certified physician and surgeon. He is board-certified in foot surgery. He is a native of the Puget Sound area. He did his premed 4 year degree at the University of Washington. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his foot surgical residency training at new Berlin Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin.

Dr. Young has a special interest in bunion reconstruction and repair including revision of previously failed bunion surgeries. He has special training and expertise in Lapidus and Lapiplasty bunion repair. Over the years he has perfected these techniques to help his patient's have a optimal correction with accelerated healing and recovery. He also has a special interest in tendon pathologies in the foot and ankle including Achilles and peroneal tendon problems.  Dr. Young is always looking for ways to help his patients heal faster and uses the latest medical innovations and technology.
Dr. Young also specializes in ultrasound-guided procedures that allow for immediate diagnosis and precise treatments. A common example of this is Plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. He also has extensive experience and had very high success using adjunct procedures such as shockwave and PRP.
Dr. Young lives locally with his family in the Sammamish area. When not practicing medicine he enjoys activities including snowboarding, boating, wake boarding and fishing. He keeps fit by jogging, mountain biking, hiking and walking. He also has had his private pilot's license and floatplane rating.
