Ingrown Toenail Surgery

Ingrown toenails are an extremely painful condition that cannot normally be fixed with just an oral antibiotic. The majority of patients that have an ingrown toenail require removal of a small piece of the infected nail. This is done with local anesthetic so no pain is experienced and normally does not require much recovery. We are highly experienced in treating ingrown toenails, especially on kids who normally need to return to activities the next day. We have a specialized injection technique for children and most kids find extremely helpful and almost pain-free. For people that have had ingrown toenails before we have a technique that can permanently stop the ingrown toenail from returning.
